counter striek 1.6 map help, im not sure if anyone would know..

Okay, i got botlikes help making a cs 1.6 map, and he helped mewith what i THOUGHT was the only problems, but now theres a new one so.....
well in hammer the textures are all there but after i compile it all the textures are pink and black squares and gives everyone headaches on my freinds server (which is pretty funny)

i had them working once though.

anyone know why?

the wad file im using for textures is de_vegas.wad

the wad file im using for textures is de_vegas.wad

your friends need to have de_vegas.wad in their cstrike folder

but usually, when ppl miss textures it don't even launch the game on hl1 based games ... but this migh has changed since I stopped playing on hl1\cs1.6 ... since steam ...

Did you know that the maximum number of characters allowed in a signature is 50 000 ? And I'm using 1275 in my signature !!!

no its not that. if i or my friends didnt have the wad, it would say couldnt load de_vegas.wad

i have it in my cstrike folder and it was working at one point and now i cant get them back.

and even if i makea lan server itdoesnt work right....well my friend had itfrom when it worked i can askhim to send it back to me

oh and aparently im using an iceworld wad too.

open the game with -dev -console and look at the console, is there any error listing ?? if ye, copy paste here.

this log seems ok, but was DEVELOPPER MODE ON ??

-dev in ther startup command, not only -console
